I have the "One Touch" and the fancier Sharper Image version (now discontinued)

and recently got the  Hamilton Beach Walk 'n Cut can opener   - I bought mine at Target and it is rechargeable.

I have a One Touch opener as well. I love it because I am left-handed and manual openers are backwards for me. I've had the One Touch for at least a few years and had no problems with it. It does require a couple of AA batteries and it seems to go through them a bit faster than I would have expected, though nothing outrageous. It's fairly compact and fits in a drawer easily. It's not super easy to clean but it's not impossible either.

I like the idea of that rechargeable one, andiesenji, would you recommend it?

I like it.  It works better on the large cans than the one touch.

Now you can get rechargeable batteries - RayoVac had a promotional with the charger last week, it may still be going.

I got the Apple rechargeable batteries and charger for my mouse and keyboard and they work beautifully.
