The g/f and I are going to Montreal for my birthday weekend. We are looking for a recommendation. We have already been to Toqué, which we very much enjoyed. We don’t want to do the same restaurant again, but we're looking for something in Toqué’s class.

Le Club Chasse et Peche is great. La Chronique is also an experience.

Lesley.... You had stated last week that Cocagne should not be overlooked, and what about Bazaar Anise as a recommendation?

Veni. Vidi. Voro.

Both excellent restaurants, but not in the same class as Toque!

Anise before, yes, but not so much now (though still worth a trip). Cocagne is a fancy bistro, if a "bistro" at all. There's also a question of the wine lists, which are less expansive at these establishments.
