  3. What a hoot The Egg Platter is. Had breakfast there once and it was very good. A friend brought me to this place as I would never have walked in there on my own.
  4. Yes, it is worth it and the food is excellent, although it is very expensive. Rat's is also the most beautiful restaurant in NJ. Be sure to leave a few hours to tour the 23 acre Grounds For Sculpture. They also have a cafe there if you prefer not to dine in the restaurant. More info is on their web site at: http://www.ratsrestaurant.org/

  21. I'm between Laurel and Pleasant Valley Way. Bella Rosa is where Cafe Z used to be. BYO. Strip House is good. I'm sure I posted something about my meal there. Do a search. I had a story on Table Hopping With Rosie 7/9 where I wrote about their "Summer-Cut-of the Night" $20 special that is offered from Monday through Thursday, through Labor Day. The following will be available: Mondays, prime rib; Tuesdays, veal chop; Wednesdays, Kobe burger; and Thursdays, filet mignon. Diners will be served the exact same quality and portion size as is on the current Strip House menu. Some a la carte sides include black truffle creamed spinach, crisp goose fat potatoes, salads; French fries, deep fried potatoes, and braised collard greens and kale. For dessert don't miss the towering twenty four layered chocolate cake that can easily feed four.
