Welcome to the club. We didn't have a working frig 4 days, had to take it upon ourselves to buy one.... By law, you are supposed to have a frig. I hate shitty landlords. You should be able to deduct it from your rent if they haven't done anything about it.

Bacon is fat heald together by whisps of meat anyway. Blotting it after cooking will take away as much grease as if you used 10 sheets per slice. If you blot it right.

Why don't you nuke it ona plate with one papertowel over it for the splatter, and then lay them on a couple of paper towels when they're done? Much more cost effective.
