Thanks, Suzanne. I don't know what it is, but I keep getting Page cannot be displayes, and cannot find server. No idea what the problem is. The reason we might switch to Blue Smoke is that landmark will serve us burgers and seat us together for the most part if we have enough people, like between our usual 12 - 15. We're just not getting that this time around, so I may have no choice. So far, I only have nine confirmed, and that includes pnapoli + 1 which was a while ago. (Pie too)?

Well Thanksgiving is the 27th, but if you're booked, you're booked. Murder Burger has egg and breadcrumbs and who knows what else in there. It's really a patty shaped meatloaf. It may not be bad, but we're going for the simplicty of a great burger.

Okay. Time for a serious headcount for Tuesday the 25th at 7pm. I called Landmark, and spoke to Lisa the manager. She said they do NOT normally do burgers at night, but will make an exception for us, if we have enough people. She'll also reserve tables in the bar area, but probably can't put them all together. Fine by me. So who's in? If there aren't enough responses by tomorrow, I'll call and tell her we'll make it another time under more normal circumstances. Sound off!

I am sorry to say, all, that the last two days have been rather hellish, and I suck, but I will call Landmark tomorrow to make sure they can accomodate us all together, and all with burgers. Exposed car handles are the least of your worries on shopping carts. How about the people who rub their eyes, don't wash their hands after using the bathroom, picking thies nose, blowing their nose, picking that piece of pork from between their gums and dentures.... How about them? Then there are the people who don't wash their hands after diapering the baby. TOO many of them.

But doesn't cornstarch break after it reaches a certain temperature? i add it off the heat. i wouldn't recommend adding cornstarch if you're going to continue to simmer the gravy. I've done it and never had a problem. But I only use corn starch when I've screwed up.

Same thing happened to me, but I wrote or called her again, and she said something else had to be done first, but she was still going to do the interviews in future. We'll see if that ever happens.
