  1. I do this, but I Google Keep. I use a check box next to each item so I just un-check it next time I need it—too easy! I also track prices. Lists are synced among all devices. ETA: Lists are arranged per each store's layout.
  2. I love celery—but I like EVERYTHING! I even like lovage which is like celery on steroids! 😁
  3. Of course! When the housemate is cooking, they signal when his food is 'done!' LOL 🤣
  4. I'm right on the edge and I''m still getting the occasional error. I sure wish they'd improve search capabilities—current search function is generally horrible.
  5. I would probably exchange the word fanatic with another adjective. I've sold many very rare books. Still have some. Some with DJs. It's just not the type of book collector I am. ETA: I have several professionally published books that are not listed as being available anywhere, at any price.
  6. Really? I'm a book collector. I have thousands of books. I suppose it's possible I'd fight over certain rare content—but I despise violence. I'd certainly NEVER fight over aesthetics, unless it's something EXTREME—involving extremely rare CONTENT!
  7. Weird! All I care about is the content—and condition. I have paid a LOT at different times for content. Extremely rare content. I can make my own dust jacket! 😁
  8. You should buy the one for $147.10 with $5.00 on Abebooks.com and resell it. Hehehehehe! No dust jacket, but "inscribed by the author" must be worth something.
  9. FWIW, The Food Lab: For the Best Stir-Fry, Fire Up the Grill by J. KENJI LÓPEZ-ALT IMO, he makes a mistake in not elevating the wok a bit above the charcoal chimney—which hampers the draft.
  10. I can do that all day any day in various smokers. There's not need for it in the house.
  11. Depends on the goal. Do you want something that's concentrated and can be placed strategically. Or are you okay with the default, scrap about the garden. Nothing really wrong with any option. And there are a gazillion in between. It depends on what YOU want. Please don't invest in an expensive contraption.
  12. Composting is a simple process. You sure don't need that.
  13. The idea and/or the 'necessity' has existed for a very long time. Source: The Bean-Bag, 1920
  14. The Art of Making Vegetarian Sausages by Stanley Marianski and Adam Marianski
  15. Making Healthy Sausages by Stanley Marianski and Adam Marianski
  16. I literally like almost everything—excluding 'fake' stuff.. Although I do have preferences—we all do. The one thing that absolutely despise is Canola oil—I absolutely HATE the stuff! 🤢
  17. They custom make lots of stuff. They'd have no problem fitting it with a lid.
  18. This is the other option I had in mind. The 16 gallon would be less than $2000 with an added agitator. A PID could be added, but I doubt that's necessary. http://www.maxantindustries.com/bottling.html
  19. Yes, but they're extremely expensive. They most be up to specs and be capable documenting temps, etc. Twas the same back when my grandfather ran a creamery for 30+ years. The only difference is that the pasteurizer he was working with was much larger. Well, and the 'rules' have very likely changed some over the years. http://www.thevatpasteurizer.com/index.php If you don't want something as precise—something for home use— I have other suggestions.
  20. Yeah, after the first 3 years of dealing with this piece of junk—I've been hoping that it would die.
  21. The range died today. The GE fridge lasted just 5 years, the range lasted 8. I won't be buying ANYTHING GE (Haier) again! 😠 I won't be replacing it with a range. I use just one burner ~95% of the time. I'll get a counter-top induction cooktop.
  22. Folks tussle over the strangest of things. It's often very comical, if not sad. Folks will eat what they eat. If they're paying for it, it's solely their business.
  23. There's a rumor that it'll be a "Prime week" this year, and it'll start on the 9th of July—who knows? The only thing I'm seriously eyeing is a certain camera.
  24. It's interesting how we each react differently. I don't feel I'll be able to open one of his books, re-watch one of his shows or watch him being interviewed, for quite some time. But I will, eventually.
  25. What's the goal? Do you want a camera so you can monitor the stove when you're in another room, or do you want a camera that can capture quality video of work at the stove, or one of several other possibilities.
