Just finished reading this report. Bux, I encourage you to look over this, but all in all advertisements were not mentioned. The primary analysis comes from the coorelation of price and cases made. This could have been more negative towards WS, but I feel that the numbers represented in the report are accurate. Youll have to look this one over yourself to understand the jist of what I am explaining. Hope this may help

I'd gladly experiment if it weren't so difficult to find a perfectly poured pint of Guinness in NYC aside from at Paddy Reilly's. Where are the other perfect pints? Has anyone had luck pouring a great pint from the nitro-charged cans? What about Kinsale in the upper 90's. I remember them having one of the best pours in the city. This was about ten years ago, not sure if it is still around.

Has anyone heard the myth that you can float a coin on top of the head of a perfectly poured guiness? Any truth to this?

I always remember Le steak on the upper east side as having terrific fries. Not sure if they are still open. Sammys (ye old cider mill) in N.J. Might possibly have the best fries in the country!!

With the thousands of fool proof corkscrews on the market, I do not understand why Pullpop is attempting this. Could it be because of the hightned security in our airports, and the banning of corkscrews on flights? Ill stick to my Lagioule!

Thanks so much for taking the time to answer our questions. What regions and what varietals are most expressive in blind tastings. With so many of the same varietals being produced all over the world, what do you feel the " banker wines" are, and what are some of the more difficult wines/ Regions to taste blind. Thanks so much chris

rich , if you have a good connection with a restaurant or liquor store ask them if they can get a dummy bottle from one of their wine reps. All the big houses make them, Ie: Roederer, Cliquot, Moet and so on. If you lucky enough, most of these large format bottles come in their own wooden presentation cases. good luck

The Boulder Wine Merchant has always had excellent selections. It is owned by master sommeliers, Wayne Belding and Sally Mohr. In New Jersey, what about the Wine Library? Not sure if this fits into the catagory of merchant.

great to hear that these two are still doing well. Moved from NJ some time ago, but always love returning to these wonderful restaurants. Has serenade changed names a few times over the years?

ron, you are correct. I find that these work with older, more fragile corks.
