After a fun evening handing out candy to the Trick Or Treaters, Turkey Sliders and Barbecue Potato Chips hit the spot!

Because our son and grandson are here this week, we had Thanksgiving today!

We are changing the date for Thanksgiving this year. All the traditional family favorites - turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, rolls, pumpkin pie..., but we are celebrating Thanksgiving before Halloween because our son and grandson, who live in Japan, will be here for a week starting Saturday, and since the holiday is not celebrated in Japan, our son has made the request so that our grandson can experience it.

I had prepared this bed for planting last Spring, but the weather, travel and life interrupted my plans. So, today I finally planted the bed with the lettuce, spinach and radish seeds I had intended to plant last Spring.

I got up rather late this morning, so made a Grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwich, which should get me to dinner time.

I had a big lunch, so downsized dinner to a cup of Chili with Fried Polenta, served in the bowl I made in a pottery class last month. 😋
