A couple of recent dinners. Sirloin - I've gone back to SV with a sear - served with steamed broccoli. Wings in the Speedi again, served with potato wedges made alongside the wings (they came out great) and steamed broccoli.

Sirloin, cooked on the grill without sous vide. First time I have cooked a steak this way in many years. It came out fine. Might go back to it! Served with baked potato (35 minutes in the Speedi) and steamed broccoli.

A couple of recent dinners. Aidell's Hickory Smoked Beef Sausage with baked beans (Bourbon and brown sugar) and rye garlic toast. I haven't had these sausages before. They tasted like smoked hot dogs but with more texture and some kick from what I assume is black pepper. I likely wouldn't buy them again, but they were OK. Fried chicken from the local Winco. It's great (and cheap - 8 piece mixed for $8.48). With Blasphemy Coleslaw.

NOH is great. Use as a dry rub instead of a marinade, let sit over night. Baste the char siu with some honey for the last few minutes.

Cold, windy and rainy here in NCal. So chicken noodle soup with chicken, noodles, carrots, celery, onion, corn and peas.

Wings in the speedi again. Extra minute after saucing because my wife likes them this way. With peas and carrots.

I too have the Breville oven with air fry and I find that if I use a higher temperature than what is called for, then it air fries much better. For example, if the package or recipe calls for 390f I will use 425f.

Try starting with the steak frozen.

My red sauce but made with Italian sausage instead of ground beef. Served over whole wheat spaghetti noodles.

Recent dinners: Italian sausage cooked on the grill with stewed tomatoes, snap peas and garlic bread: Sirloin, cooked SV then seared with baked potato and snap peas. Made the potato a new way for me - in the Ninja Speedi on Steam Crisp. 35 minutes to a perfect baker - creamy inside with crisp skin. Butter added after the pic was taken.

Actually my wife requested the shrimp fried rice so I made rice fresh for that. I did make it earlier in the day so it could cool, so maybe that makes it technically leftover? 😉
