Your family looks just like you Just wonderful! You guys look a little ornery in the last pic

Geez, jealous of your beef fat for free. They passed some law down here that we have to pay for beef fat. We like to use it to grind with our venison. Not that it's a lot, but we pay 20 cents a pound.

Oh just wow. Thanks for the stunning pictures and the write-up. Everyone looks great!

I'm loving this walk down your memory lane. Gosh, 12 years since you've seen your daughter. I get it--I live one state over from my mom and only see her once a year (all my fault--she's the one that comes to me). You guys must be having such great talks. Tell us that you bought something from Enrique Tomas. Or at least lie to us.

Oh I can't put into words how great this was. I'll never see this in person so you and your wife are my eyes. Thank you both so very much. The sights and the food intertwine perfectly. -

Wow. Just wow. I am now scrounging around for a pack of ramen noodles. Which will be very sad compared to your noodles up there. -

I love the three different kinds of rice and the "hat" on top. -

Friday night we did some crab legs in the CSO along with spinach alfredo and a hash using zucchini from the garden and the last of my corn from the freezer Saturday was pizza night Brined a chicken and asked Ronnie to please smoke it. It's been a long time since we had that--will do it again soon. Forgot how much we like it. I used my torch to crisp the skin up after smoking. Zucchini fritters, baked beans and smashed crispy new potatoes to go with

Me too! Also, when eating fries at Wendy's, I dipped them in my Frosty. Now, I must get some MW. I've taken to making our own mayo for quite some time, but now I'm hungry for it. I need a fried egg sandwich with ketchup on one side and MW on the other. -
Had a zucchini get away from me already so I shredded it to make venison meatballs so I could restock the freezer. That called for spaghetti night: For Independence Day we had caveman steaks--I guess they are really called cowboy steaks. I've seen this cut on TV but never in real life. They were on sale so Ronnie bought 'em just for fun. We decided two would be too much, so one went in the freezer and he did the other on the grill. Meat was wonderful...dunno why they have to scrape the bone like that lol. First tomato from the garden! Pasta salad Made some green beans and new potatoes in the IP--threw in some Father's ham. GOOD stuff. Strawberries and angel food cake for dessert

Love ketchup on eggs and grilled cheese and I like Miracle Whip. -
I don't know if it's available up there but down here there is a brand called Laughing Cow Cheese. It comes in a round box and inside are pie shaped wedges of soft, spreadable type cheese and it comes in a low fat Swiss that I like.
-
Already had a zucchini get away from me and become a giant so that means it's time to make venison meatballs to restock the freezer

Absolutely the same with Crazy coming in a close second. Her voice is magical to me.

Oh my gosh, this is the most wonderful thing. Your mom looks maybe 70! And you! And everyone! Lovely family!

I don't drink much liquor anymore, but this used to be my favorite. So did White Russians until one unfortunate night in a dive bar playing pool and listening to Patsy Cline on the jukebox.......😂
