The Old Foodie

I was born in Yorkshire, England, migrated to Australia with my parents and siblings at the age of 15, and have lived most of the time in Brisbane since then. I am a health professional in real life (please dont hold that against me), still with my original husband (where's my longevity medal?), two lovely adult children who have their own partners, mortgages, and recipe collections, but still happen to call in round about mealtimes on a fairly regular basis. One day, someday, I am going to finish one or more of my writing projects: "The Food History Almanac" , "366 historic menus, one for each day of the year, with explications", "Christmas through the centuries, with recipes", or most importantly "The Pie: A Celebratory History".
