  6. I have been browsing Harden's and noticed that Chez Bruce scores well 3rd in the top gastronomic experience 3rd in the favourite section 8th in the romance section and 1st in the Modern British(+£40)

  8. Only had ours i'm afraid,but i'm assuming there the same thing.Kings, Queens ,Diver ,Day boat, etc all ring bells here.An American told me that they stamp out Skate wings into discs and sell them as fake scallops on your side of the pond?

Pistachio Dressing Toasted Pistachio nuts about 4oz Blitzed with hand blender with spoon coarse grain mustard, good splash white wine vinegar, few Basil leaves,.when smooth, add EVOO untill the dessired consistancy.Oh salt and pepper to taste. This can split easily, so a dash of hot water whisked in will bring it back

  21. Britcook, as i said its needs work, but its better then nowt.We run a simple bistro, so a simple website suits.We have been offline for months, so its just good to be back with some presence on the net.

    Depends on your wine merchant.We work with our merchant writing our wine list, and also on Wines of the Month.We have had a relationship for the last 7 years, and i am happy to use there knowledge to our advantage. I wouldn't think our wine list was "easy to spot", just because it was written with a big input from the supplier.It is in his interest to make my customers and me happy with a well balanced, thought out list. Obviously, a shady wine merchant would write a list that suits him best, but thankfully not all wine people are the same
