  1. I ended up resolving it (I hope). Needed to go straight for the traps and got some advice from a mate. We used 5 bait stations and traps and caught 4 on the first night, 2 on the second and 1 a few days later. There's been no signs since and we have sealed off a lot of places they could have been emerging from. Fingers crossed and thanks for the tips.
  2. I've just noticed signs of rodents in my kitchen (mainly droppings and chewed food packets), and I'm freaking out a bit. I really want to sort this out quickly before it gets worse, but I’d prefer to deal with it myself first rather than hire pest control. This is also my first time having any rodents inside in 20 years - I've had them outside before. Does anyone have advice on the best DIY methods or products that work? I'm really keen on not using chemicals if possible as it is a commercial kitchen. I've come across these natural mouse repellents, but I’m not sure which ones to go for. Has anyone tried them? Or do people think I should just go for mouse traps and bait stations. Thanks in advance for any tips! 😊

    Dinner 2025

Looks amazing. What's your recipe for the mushroom sauce?
  4. Love spam. Adding it to egg fried rice is heaven.
  5. Thanks loved it. Cooking it this weekend!
  6. I owe more than i can count, at least 200, I'd say. I purchase a lot at flea sales and carboot sales. There's quite a few I've never more than flicked through.
  7. My first chick fill a was last year in New York. Long queue of office workers but well worth it. Had spicy chicken sandwich and chicken nuggets. Will definitely go again but definitely not the healthiest.
  8. I recommend the ooni for what it's worth.
  9. @Kerry Beal Good point. I did a bit research and noticed that quite a few Asian stores like here as an example describe them as "rice crackers". Funny enough they also come under snacks :). So I guess a cracker is a kind of snack?
  10. My favourite crackers are probably Japanese senbei.
  11. Oh I love Trader Joe's Brioche toasts too - they are a weakness of mine. I also love the Uncle Saba's poppadoms. Do poppadoms count as crackers?
  12. I've lived in London and Asia (HK), and on the Chinese food front London has heaps of room to catch up. That said, my favourite Chinese restaurants are Din Tai Fung, Dim Sum Duck, and Phoenix Palace. Yet to taste anything as good as being in China
  13. Same here I like to batch cook 2 or 3 recipes over the weekend, and put them in the fridge. You can even do it for soups and broths too. My favourites are usually vegan lasagne, stir-fries and casseroles.
