Go to this link, and look at the entry all the way down at the bottom-right under "Desserts."

After downing a 24oz. porterhouse, sometimes you need something a little lighter.

It's like ordering a super sized big mac meal with a diet coke.

Maybe the same people who order the "Plain Broiled" Red Snapper.

On another note - what an unappealing website.

Looks like it hasn't been updated since 1998, the date I saw on one page.

Bottom of the menu page says "Revised: October 24, 1997."

Latest modification date I found on the whole site was December 2001 - on the recipe page, where they manage to misspell Recipes in the heading.

As an aside, which is a worse indictment--the Prime Rib or the Palm, which doesn't even list desserts:

http://www.thepalm.com/sitemain.cfm?site_id=4

The Prime Rib at least has the advantage of only having three restaurants, while the Palm has ten times that number. I can understand how the dessert menus for each restaurant might not be listed, considering the (hopeful) seasonality of the desserts and use of local ingredients. Still, I'd choose the Palm as the lesser site, because of it's attempt to cover every restaurant through a corporate hub, which means the individual restaurants aren't really involved in their own web presence. The Palm site reminded me of the Outback chain, which has a McDonalds consistancy from coast to coast.

We'll not discriminate great from small.

No, we'll serve anyone - meaning anyone -

And to anyone at all!

Go to The Palm's website, click on "Dinner Menu," then look at the next-to-last item under "Appetizers."

Care to fill us in, Mark?

I'd also like to know what "Shrimp Bruno" is.

I don't know, but according to Google the Palm is the only place to get it.

Sounds Yummy.

Trying to tie all this together, if you go here:

http://www.palmrestaurant.citysearch.com/m...ectory5.content

and look under "Appetizer," any party of 25 or more will apparently each get one Shrimp Bruno when ordering the House Specialty Slater.

2) Note the dish under Seafood Specialties called "Seafood Nasala."

3) Go to http://www.google.com and do a search on "Seafood Nasala."

4) View the "Did you mean:" prompt upon getting the hits screen.

I need to get a life.

Ew. So the lesson here is to not ask what that special sauce is.

And yeah, you do need a life! :raz:
