Driving from Philly to Lancaster - Where Should I Stop?

I've got to drive from Philly out 76 to Lancaster and back at some point in the next few weeks to pick up some furniture. Any must-stops in Lancaster or between here and there?

Minor detour to Downingtown gets you to the Victory Brew pub. I LEAVE Lancaster to go there.

We stumbled upon this place in Lititz - great hot chocolate and Lititz is a cute little town to walk around.

Thanks. I live in the town adjacent to Downingtown, and my brother lives in Lititz. I'm going to have to check out both Victory and Café Chocolate.

HAN DYNASTY on Route 100 in Exton, for fabulous Sechuan and Taiwanese food ---lion's head meatballs, lamb with cumin, noodles with spicy pork sauce, chicken with hot pepper, extraordinary stuff, really. It's located across Route 100 from the DRAFTING ROOM restaurant ---another place you should definitely stop into for decent food and a huge selection of craft beers. Another great place, almost at the midpoint of your trips.

If you are taking Rt 30 or Rt 340, try one of the amish restaurants in Intercourse or Bird in Hand.

If you are traveling the turnpike, take Exit 298 - Morgantown, then travel south on Route 10 for 10 minutes into the next farming valley and visit the Bistro on 10 at the Waynebrook Inn. It's upscale casual dining in the evening and lunch on Fridays and Saturdays. Reasonable prices, good service and tasty food. You can then go west on Rt. 322 into Lancaster Co. or reverse these directions if your coming back from Lanc.
