Restaurant Abac and Can Ravell

Recommended Posts

So the Abac tasting menu is around E84. It has 9-10 courses and one dish is better than the next. From the tuna to the roast baby suckling pig, it doesn't get much better than this. Super attentive service even though the place was packed. Great wine list and a sommelier with excellent suggestions for any price. Dinner lasted around three and a half hours, so be prepard to linger! One of the best restaurant experiences in a long time.

While we were there, we were told about Can Ravell, which is know as a "Montequeria" or a gourmet store. After doing some shopping, we ended up having lunch on the "chefs table" in the back of the store. Amazing food (very expensive), using top notch ingredients. Lunch was five courses for E70. Included fresh tomato and tuna salad, pasta, veal and fish courses. If you want to eat like a local amongst locals, try this offbeat fabulous place.
