Wow, that's pretty cool; I didn't actually expect it to work. Mine didn't come off neatly as his, but i just blew until the shell sort of burst in one part, and then I was able to easily take off the rest of the shell with no damage to the exterior of the egg.

Very nice.

Wonder if it works with quail eggs.

Interesting? - Sure. Hygienic? - I don't think so. Using a teaspoon to separate the shell from the egg works for me.

I use running water. When the water gets under the membrane, it has much the same result - though his was especially neat.
