I currently live in the Creuse region of the Limousin department in France. I live with my husband and three Korean rescue dogs. The Creuse is probably the most underpopulated region in France, with lots of forests and lakes and rivers. There are also a lot of rolling pastures with cows and some sheep. We live in a small hamlet,  about forty-five minutes  drive from Limoges. I'm currently on a sabbatical from teaching, but hope to start work again in the 2020 school year.

I love to cook using the best local ingredients I can find. We are lucky enough to have a good local market, two wonderful bakeries and great butcher in the nearby town. I have a lot of cookbooks, and have enjoyed actually having the time to use them!
