  1. It's on sale for $500 on Amazon. I think I may pick one up now
  2. Ok you all have convinced me. I just ordered my CSO.
  3. I was thinking of using it to do veggies if I'm cooking a protein; but looking through the threads it looks like most people here use these ovens instead of their main one. I primarily use my main oven for baked goods (like bread, cakes, cookies, etc...) and roasts. Is that enough information? From what I'm seeing a lot of people use the CSO to do toast(?). Is that one of the primary things that the CSO does better the BSO? I'm seeing the main benefits of the BSO as able to fit a quarter sheet pan, and possibly the dehydrating and proofing feature.
  4. Wanted to get your thoughts. I'm getting on getting a supplementary oven. I'm deciding between the CSO or the Breville Smart Oven Air. It looks like they're both on sale right now. The CSO being $159 and the BSO Air being ~$320 after some coupon stacking? if you had to choose between the two, which would you get?
  5. Looks like the Smart Oven Air is on sale for $399 at BBB I was able to stack the 20% coupon online. It comes out to be $320 after stacking the coupon. Is that a good price for it?
  6. You all are referring to this model when you say BSOA right (https://www.breville.com/us/en/products/ovens/bov900.html)? Not this model (https://www.breville.com/us/en/products/ovens/bov860.html)?
  7. Funny enough I'm considering which of the two to get. I frequently run into situations where I want to roast something else while I have a protein in the oven.
  8. @ElsieD Is that something that would potentially damage the surface?
  9. It looks like everyone has been using the Smart Oven Pro. If I don't care about air frying, is there any reason to get the smart oven air fryer vs the pro model? https://www.breville.com/us/en/products/ovens.html
  10. I wanted to post an update. Earlier this year, I had some issues with the control freak constantly tripping my circuit. I moved to a new place and I'm happy to report I haven't had any issues with any of my induction hobs tripping the circuit. I have another thing I wanted to ask y'all. How have you been cleaning your control freak? I have this white circle on mine and I'm not sure what the best way to clean it.
  11. I think my circuit is set to trip at 16ish amps so I may be out of luck until I move to another apartment. I'm guessing I should look for places that have 20 amp circuits then?
  12. Has anyone had any issues with their control freak tripping their circuit? I'm based in the US and I'm noticing that even if it's the only thing plugged in, it tends to trip the circuit when I lift the pan.
  13. I just wanted to give an update. I got the new tube in today, and I replaced the cracked one. Everything is working fine now! There's so many things I want to try!
  14. I just wanted to give an update. I just got off the phone with vacmaster support. They had me unscrew the chamber and look underneath. Lo and behold, it turns out one of the tubes got cracked. They're going to be sending me some new tubes.
