Second time today I've heard this book mentioned, first was on a food podcast (Linoleum Knife and Fork). I will check it out.

Anybody else getting Milk Bar Compost Cookie vibes from these?
-
This might be why you're seeing them in mainstream stores now.

Damn, I wish I knew about this before I bid on another A4 off ebay to get the accessory pans. Would have saved a chunk of change.

Just got this very set in today, they are sized long enough and narrow enough for cleaning out iSi carafes.

Anybody else need totes in the 'ludicrously capacious' size?

I mean, you pour your melted compound butter into one of these bad boys and you're technically correct, which is the best kind of correct.

Ain't broke, don't fix it. They make great stocking stuffers for kitchen-inclined people.

Also induction compatible, according to the listing.

Thanks, got the 16qt stockpot coming my way.

Love a good Gruner. They're great to pair with stuff that's sometimes harder to pair - Thai curries, etc.

Your Daily Sweets: What Are You Making and Baking? (2017 – )

I made Frankie Gaw's "Milk Tea" Rice Crispy Treats from his book "First Generation", here's the website link: "Milk Tea" Rice Crispy Treats | Little Fat Boy The only difference is the website puts in miso. I might try that next time. As far as the recipe goes, he has you melt the butter and a majority of the marshmallows in a pot and then add it to a bowl with the rice crispies. In doing this I left behind more of the marshmallow mix than I would have liked. I think the next time I do this I'll use a larger pot and just add the cereal to the hot mix. -
The Caesar Salad Dip and the Olive Tapenade Hummus were both pretty tasty. Would recommend.

So much for 'compromising elsewhere'.

Ah, the Anova way.

I, too, want the MeatBaller.

Agreed, could do some nifty baking, etc. with them.

Ordered Tue night, got here Friday (12/13) via UPS. Was around $45 all-in. Hope the accessories go back in stock - I’d like the soup container.
