At what time do you usually have your dinner? In Israel, many (most?) people prefer to have their dinner around noon, with a lighter supper at evening. So my lunch time dinner - Fava beans with rosemary and cumin; An egg salad with tahini, schug, pickled cucumbers, onion and parsley; Salsa of tomatoes, chilis, olive oil, lemon juice and sumac; Labneh with olive oil and zaatar; Pita, and some beer.

@Duvel Your japanese meal looks amazing. I've never heard of eggplant agedashi, but it makes a lot of sense to me, I never really loved tofu agedashi (even though I really like tofu) and i think an eggplant texture might be more to my liking. Also, I now have to make soba with walnut sauce sometime soon. Thanks for the ideas @liuzhou I see that you make couscous quite often, have you ever had it with Moroccan style stew?

Pasta casserole, with some cream, mozzarella, tomatoes, lots of basil and garlic, some chili. All Just mixed together and baked until crisp. I like making batch of this mix and baking portions of it over a few days. It gets better as the mixture sits in the fridge and the garlic and basil infuses the fats.

Malabi, flavored with nutmeg and vanilla (rather than rose water) topped with strawberry puree and toasted hazelnuts. -
Manakish breads (مناقيش). Zaatar and olive oil. Butter and dukkah (toasted coriander, sesame, cumin, peanut). Thin layer of tomato sauce with sumac, bharat and feta cheese. Served with labneh, salad, olives, chickpeas with tahini.

Thai yellow curry, with soft tofu, mushrooms, peas and a fried egg (sorry, no pic of the yolk action).

Panzanella with a garlicky basil vinaigrette. Spaghetti with vegetarian meatballs (not aiming for a meat like flavor, obviously. After the photoshot, the balls were promptly moved aside and the pasta properly mixed with more sauce ).

Yesterday. Wheat berry, nectarine and apricot salad, with apple cider vinaigrette, almonds, mint and scallions. Mutabal from extra smoky eggplants and tahinini, with tomatoes and sunflower seeds. Eggplant salad with yogurt, tahini, mint and pomegranate syrup. Pasta with chickpeas, roasted peppers, soft feta. Cauliflower with caramelized onion, curry powder, cumin. Slow roasted sweet potato, with raw tahini and mint. Grilled meats (marinated chicken breast, kebabs and german style hot dogs). This was delegated to my brother, not my specialty Some overly sweet (IMO) sauvignon blanc - I stuck with beer. New york style cheesecake, and unpictured watermelon with feta, for dessert.
