  1. Yeah!!! I think the food must taste much better when the owner is there.
  2. A Taste of Asia is also in Chatham. I actually like the Chatham location better as the decor is nicer.
  3. Do you have any fond food memories from your childhood?
  4. Ok--we still await your report on Amanda's.
  5. Welcome Ghostrider--Let us know where else you like to dine.

  9. Rebecca's s BYO. Let us know about your dinner.
  10. Ditto to Cafe Matisse. Lovely restaurant.
  11. You can bring your own liquor. Just put it in a flask and be discreet. I have seen people bring all the makings for a martini as well as martini glasses to BYOB's.
  12. LNorman--thanks for the report and welcome to eGullet. Let us know where you like to dine.
  13. In Hoboken there is a parking lot on Frank Sinatra Drive. Amanda's will cover the parking. Otherwise it is either $20 or $10. It's not far from the Dining Room at Anthony David's. Another suggestion is Betyi Kebab (spelling?) on Park Ave in Union City. Very good Turkish food.
  14. Just a reminder to vote and wanted to keep this on page 1.
  15. Hasn't Rosie stated that in New Jersey charging corkage is illegal? It's illegal to charge corkage in a BYO--not in an establishment that has a liquor license.
  16. That's why the place is called MONSTER sushi!
  17. You are not far from Hoboken. Dining Room at Anthony David's and Amanda's are both excellent. Augustino's was recently reviewed in New Jersey Monthly magazine. In Weehawken I can recommend Arthur's Landing.
  18. Thanks for your list janbee and welcome to eGullet.
