The Fascino dinner filled up fast as the restaurant could only handle 12 people. Kim--you or anyone are welcome to set up NJ eGullet events. All one has to do is post where, when and how much and how many can be accomodated. Good idea about posting the topic as an event. I just changed the Fascino header and apologize to everyone who would have liked to come. I have a waiting list if you are interested. Also, feel free to set up another event at Fascino or anywhere you would like to go. Lou Reda planned this event so yell at him also!

I enjoyed the sushi at Monster Sushi and think that we should go there in the spring. Never ate at Samurai Sushi as when we walked into the restaurant it smelled so fishy that we left. Place was busy tho.

I have had very good dinners in The Manor's a la carte dining room. Do you have to stay in the Essex county area? There are other options such as Amanda's in Hoboken, Nicholas in Red Bank, Rat's in Hamilton and The Frog and the Peach in New Brunswick.

Anyway--Lowell may be joining us. Awaiting a report from Lou after he is finished with work.

I spoke to Lou and he is going to call again. Nouveau Sushi cost my friends $170 for two and it's BYO.

You are making me nervous also. I can call tonight and/or we can go someplace else. I'm not the sushi expert so I'll go with the flow. Kyoto was great the last time we were there. It's far but I really liked Mr Pis in Metuchen and it was different.

Pad Thai inn Highland Park is also good. We recently had hamburgers at Tumulty's Pub and they were ok--not the greatest but the location is good. Harvest Moon Brewer may not be zooey.
