  1. @ElsieD

when will you be getting the rotisserie attachment ?

    looking forward to your report

as I understand it , your version came w a non-stick grill and a wider spaced not non-stick grill.

any idea why one would want to use the aluminum looking grill if it sticks ?

    got to be for something

    Fine

    Just Fine

RoTo :  $ 49  free shipping , still a possibility of no Tax

Black or Green Friday or Monday is coming up

Maybe JB  will try to swallow his massive loss for Right Now shipping

    and get these two items

at the nice price  point I am suggesting

    :"" why Not ? just because  ""

    Ill order three sets

    at my pride point

and Ill wait a week or two to get them.

    the rotisserie :

what do you think the grill accessory is for ?

smaller stiff  ( shrimp ? ) non skewered that you grill , maybe turn over

then serve from the GA ?

I think I recall the real grill is easy to clean as its non stick ?

when do you think you will be getting the rotisserie ?

    just saying .

rotisserie chicken has a very  special place in my heart and many other senses.

My mother was not a great cook, yet we had home cooked meals almost all the time

unless we went to Kirtks for Burgers.  and a hot breakfast during the3 school year , and most of the summer

my parents had a grill , California style , watt before Weber's were invented :

large shallow ' pan ' for the charcoal , central piston that you could move up or down w a crank , and the grill rotated on that piston.

they got a rotisserie attachment :

1`/2 circular sheet metal , w a top  that the rotisserie attached to above the coals.  you moved the Rotisserie shield around the grill based on

Local wind conditions.m  Lit the charcoal , with petrochemicals

( way before chgiumneys were created )

then plopped in the rotisserie attachment into the Hood , and turned it on

two chickens , most Sat and Sundays I recall.

the chickens were not perfectly balanced so the motored whines this way , then that

my job was to mow the lawn w a very dull , heavy push mower.

but the aromas from those chickens will haunts me in a very pleasant way.

we ate outside on a BBQ table I still have .  1.25 " redwood , top and benches 1

I got a weber a long long time ago , three burner

w their rotisserie attachment , In remembrance.

the rotisserie unit was stolen , but   ...

    Ill give it some thought

    Fond memories for me

    Rotiserrie Chicken.

love the idea of doing it inside in the winder.   outside the rest of the year should I get another of those Weber attachments.

Im very much someone gets the rotisserie attachment and puts it through its paces

would two chickens fit ?   it seems not as it only has two pointy chicken prongs.

  6. WoW !

I a big fan of SV for meat , understanding full well that SV doesnt do everything

and has a few short comings

what SV can't do , it provide the aroma that Im guessing is fabulous

    with an open-air  PAG rotisserie

the CSO is sealed , but some aroma leaks out

has anyone used the PAG  w the rotisserie attachment ?

  7. as usual , no shortage of Opinion @ eG.

    which is usually good.

    so Ill add this :

does one suppose that how the request was made maters ?

its late , the staff is tired , the patrons might be tired :

Req One :    Ill have the blue cheese burger , rare , without the blue cheese .

Req two :   Do you have a plain burger ?  ( possible but not required explanation )

  8. I tasted the Puerta Plata

    https://goodcheapvino.com/puerta-de-plata-reserva-at-tjs/

next to the StickFigure , mentioned above.

at the same temp ,  in a small pyerx bowl each

directly out of the bottles , then I let the two wines sit for a while.

they were very similar , good higher end red table wines.

the SF had a little more fruit in the mouth , and the taste was Grapes

    not cherries , raspberries etc.

both improved after an hour in the pyrex bowls.  I used them for their larger surface area.

both would be fine , for my tastes , with full flavored meat dishes

    and fill flavored cheese.

I think in my area the SF is a dollar more.

I think both would improve if you were able to keep them at a constant temp for

as long as you can stand it.

    closet , basement , fancy-pants cellar.

"I would be confident that the guys at Amazon know pretty well their numbers and made lots of studies before making this choice. "

    One would hope so.

    I hope so .

then there is the thorny issue of shy they spent a bazillion dollars trying to make a better  iPhone.

they couldn't even give that away.

    time will tell.

  10. this wine was sampled at Tj's the other day :

    DSC07831.thumb.jpg.091fa69a305e5a24a7118c5023120775.jpg

it is dry , no benzene , and good mouth feel . good body .  mild astringency in the finish

an excellent higher end  " Pasta " table wine.   $ 8.99   maybe less in CA due to MA graft ?

Ill try this w a bottle of Puerta Plata  , a wine from Spain I got at TJ a while ago

several cases.   I think this wine and PP will age nicely in the basement  Wine Cellar

    for a few years.

I agree that the TB is pretty good and very handy

with the advent of the iPot , I now make my own

ground fresh 93 % fat turkey   //  some cream for ' panade ' effect //  jarred tomato sauce / Italian herb blend  ( Penzey's Tuscan Sunset ) that has a little

    fennel in it.

oddly easy w the iPot , and easy to do when Im in production mode

Fz in blocks and vac seal.

    @cdh

Ill look into the Fz Lasagna next trip.

    that rib chop looks perfect

betting the ' cap ' was exceptionally delicious.

which got me thinking :  Beef cuts are rarely referred to as ' chops '

    it usually pork or lamb.

maybe because pork and lamb are smaller animals , and

a chop from then can be literally ' chopped ' off the larger hunk of meat

w larger beef , its sliced.

and just to be clear ,

its still early in the day

    but , I went to TJ's  , a bit hopeful

as the Turkey Not-Pot pie was very good

    for so little effort

    Bingo !

this was quite nice , but I forgot to add the tin-foil if using an oven

still mighty tasty , but the ricotta was a bit dry,

until I get my Lasagna / Stuffed Shells / Cannelloni al Forno

    big time Mojo back .................

this would be fine , but Micro's

    interesting analysis

one has to be very careful w

    what's on the internet re

    factual content.

it seems that Prime , the older version

    was very successful

I can't give you the numbers from the WSJ or the NYTimes

which are vetted and have a reputation to uphold.

not everything JB  ( speed dial # 1 for me )

    has done well :

    a dumb-ass phone , they could not give a way ?

    a similar tablet ?

a WholeFoods that's not here nor their yet for them ?

it seems its going to take a massive investment from Amazon

they say 1.5 billion $$ more than the 800 million spent so far

and those funds come from other areas of this business

for same day delivery to be profitable.

I really doubt this will happen

but what Amazon has done in the past

after mistakes , sometimes expensive mistakes are made

they shut the mistakes down , and move on to new initiatives.

their might be a place for several hour delivery from WF

    within a careful demographic

    but I doubt for non-perishables

"" on products typically bought at grocery stores or pharmacies ""
