  1. I think I must have read your message about 4 times. This is the first time in my life I am on a real diet. i did weight watchers a few years ago to loose some pregnancy weight.. but not like this. I too am terrified to go the gym. I know I need to get over it. .. thanks. I did go in once or twice and was really intimidated.. All these beautiful young women and all so fit.. And me..
  2. A lot of memories came flooding in when I read this thread -- My heart and soul is my late grandmother. Whenever we visited her, she would make methi aloo and serve it atop a freshly made hot chappati.. and serve boondi ka raita on the side. The best part was that she liked to feed it to me as though I was a little girl.. I guess I was in many ways -- she passed away when I was 16.. But the memories will stay forever... Mongo your request touched a chord

  23. Randall -- Thanks for doing this wonderful Q&A. I am curious as to your opinion on pairing wines with Indian food. The Indian forum has had a very spirited discussion on this topic - Indian food and wine - ranging from "don't even try" to "how can you not pair wines with Indian food" I am a novice in this area but eager to learn more. I would love to hear your opinion. Thank you
