Thank goodness. I'd hate to think what old Moose Farts are like
-
Yeah that's not near done. The watermelon will look like tomatoes. I like the bigger cubes, though. More goodness to eat.

I immediately thought of this topic after hearing the news this morning. I hope and pray none of our food friends were hurt.

I think you need two IP's. I do and sometimes I wish I had 3.

I have broad shoulders Watermelon looks good--does it taste good?

Did another chicken sous vide and then fried. Apparently I was really hungry for mashed potatoes and gravy.

😳 We were right. 😂

There are pirates there?

I feel like it's pirate talk. She's got an eye patch and a big sword and she's on a boat with cannons I bet.

Awwwww man. I'm not good with the patience thing. Just a tiny hint?

Oooooh!!!! I'm excited! Where are we going???
-
I don't think it looks sad at all! Looks better than mine does.

OH! I forgot to add that I believe the corn oil mixed with the BT did an excellent job. A couple ears showed signs of worm eatage, but just the very tippy top. That means that the mixture worked and killed off the worm before it could keep going. I'll definitely do this again.

There wasn't enough to do anything with. I washed it and ate it. Cooks treat --tastes like a corny mushroom.

His first comment was "well that store won't be in business very long"😂

SHAME on me! I should have noticed!!! Oh I'm excited. I hope you guys love it as much as I do.

Picked the rest of the onions and have started putting up corn One cool thing that came out of the horrible flooding has been the amount of toads around here. Seriously you have to look down at the ground the whole time while walking so that you don't step on one. I just love watching them. This guy is out guarding the squash

As long as they are covered in the oil--I've not died yet and have had some for at least 8 months to a year.

I think I mentioned somewhere around here that Ronnie went fishing for a few days. He went to a place called Cat Island just off the coast of Mississippi. Brought back red fish and sea trout. I fried up some of the sea trout last night. SO good. Used the melty cheese calculator (I'm obsessed with it now). Had a few bits of all different kinds of cheese in the fridge. Don't even remember what some of them were lol. I do know I had some Jarlsberg and some sharp white cheddar.... Tomatoes, sweet corn and mustard greens from the garden to go with.

Busy time of year, as usual. Yesterday I picked a lot of our Nirvana sweet corn. Sat in the driveway with a beer or two and shucked it all (ahhhhhh summer ). \ Brought a huge pot of salted water to boiling and blanched the corn for 3 minutes and straight into an ice water bath. Meanwhile, Ronnie was in the garage making me this corn holder thingy to make it easier to scrape the corn off LOVE my Vacmaster. Can't say that enough Also, made the corn stock from Deep Run Roots and put a couple tubs in the freezer Getting a lot of cherry/grape tomatoes so I'm excited about that. Sliced in half and drizzled with olive oil and sea salt. I like to dry them a bit in the CSO-- a couple hours or so at 250F--sometimes at 225F if I'm not in a big hurry. Done and I keep them in the fridge covered in olive oil. Delicious in the middle of winter on a salad or pizza.

I'm having to restrain Ronnie from moving to Canada.

Kerry, you always make everything look so easy. Jelly, for me, is a monumental task.
-
Oh yeah, just roasting a chicken will sway you to keep it.
-
Don't send it back! I promise you will like the bread baking--among many other things about it. We would never steer you wrong

Yeah, my air fryer fan is stronger than the CSO fan for sure.
