Salt? Egad, not that much. It's pecorino. The spinach sautes in about two minutes. Minced garlic is added as the spinach begins to wilt and is being turned. Burnt garlic is a bit too bitter.

Warm chevre with chopped olives and pecans atop mesclun salad, champagne vinaigrette. Crostini with seared chicken livers, shallots, and brandy. Barley "risotto" with tomato and leeks. Smoked chicken. Garlic spinach. edit: Ooops. Forgot the very lemony tahini dipping sauce for the smoked chicken.

  10. I like Mandy's writing when it's at its best. I would like it to always be at its best and better.
  11. It's not so much that I just disagree as I find myself astonished. Rocco looks like a bloated, paunchy coke freak to me. But perhaps that's just me.
  12. So, why is it called "corned" beef? Where's the corn? Seriously. Someone explained it here once before but, um... I forget. Thanks.

Nullo, I have worked in restaurants but this more of a private club than just a restaurant. That meal was for eighteen people.

And it was leverage that saved her. So even steven then for the best deal. Go, waiter dude, go! You could be in Dogville 2: This Time It's A Musical.

Just kidding. Good for the waiter dude. Who's probably an actor who is hoping to use this to get Kidman's leverage working for him.

    Curses. Missed.
  24. It really is a missed opportunity if staff meals aren't used in the way that Paul describes.
