  8. Thanks Janet! Wow, youi had an exciting night, and I am trying desperately to catch up! Daniel was a real dark horse, and the clam strip resolution was a thing of beauty. 10. From the research that I've done, it seems that the general consensus is that soy protein concentrate/isolate based products (shakes, veggie burgers, protein bars, infant formula etc.) are much more potentially harmful than less concentrated forms like tofu, tempeh, edamame and soy sauce. The more concentrated forms are what people need to be more aware of. So watch those boca bars, power bars and smoothies. Especially if you're a man. Men definitely don't need to be consuming natural forms of estrogen, even weak ones. ← Now, now, don't leave the other half of the population out. Millions of women are in the same boat I am, with family history documented that both indicates and contraindicates hormone replacement therapy. Osteperosis AND HRT related breast cancer, in my personal case - but there are others. Never try to tell a woman that estrogen is no big deal. You would do so at your own risk, and are catching me on a "good" day!
  11. You go Busboy! It's your birthday! Go Busboy! It's your birthday!
  12. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou The less we must consider Paris, the better I suppose. I would have thought something close would have come out of the hotel chain, however. Can you fill the empty slot with something more relevant?

  14. I do know that soy has been touted as a natural replacement for synthetic hormones for menopausal women. I also know that it is not very effective. I sweat regardless of how much soy I use in my diet.
  15. You are obviously good at this. Have any new puzzles to throw into the mix? I think Tolliver is referring to Dillinger and a glass of milk.
  16. Give it a little time. If someone can do better than me, then they deserve my points! Fun.
  17. A quick tip for lukers who might want to play. Google and Wikipedia are your friends. Research is not cheating, the connections do not have to spring full blown from your brow! If you sort of remember something, look it up and confirm it.

  20. This was a really tough one, but I think I have it under six. A band from New Jersey named the Dillinger Escape Plan was named after Dillinger himself. They have been dubbed the Most Dangerous Band by NME in honor of Dillinger East Hanover, New Jersey is the HQ of the Nabisco Corporation The Nabisco Corporation manufactures Oreo Cookies A glass of milk is the necessary compliment to Oreo Cookies, and features in many commercials.
  21. That's my understanding of the game as played in other applications. The shortest route wins the points. Yep, I wasn't sure you knew what you were getting into. I'll help. Have to retire for the day, but will be around for the morning shift. Good thing we live in different hemispheres. Oh, and should we add a bonus point for catching the individual actually eating the food proposed, as Scottie did?

  24. Wow, thanks for raising this issue. Coincidentally, my husband and I saw a very disturbing report last night on the news. http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/16431648.htm "Florida's emergency responders have been directed to kill wild bees, rather than relocate them the way trappers sometimes do with alligators, because it is the most efficient way to control the burgeoning Africanized bee population, Sklaroff said. Otherwise, he said, ``the queen will start to produce 1,500 eggs a day, and pretty soon, you have a very big problem.''" Now granted, this was a very large hive in a public park in a densely populated area, but destroying hives willy-nilly could have a devastating impact on Florida's Citrus, cucumber (we especially grow a lot of pickles in South Florida) and strawberry crops.
  25. Auguste Escoffier served frogs legs to the Prince of Wales Frogs are common roadkill Manachem Begin and Whale Blubber
