Chicken breasts are a great source of protein. I eat them all the time.
Frankly, I have trouble with chicken thighs. They end up all slippery and with gobs of chicken fat between the muscle. They might have more flavor, but are a pain in the ass to eat.

Also be sure to pick up some of their tasty sausages when you go. Their 'Berliners' are the bomb.

That is a tough one, I love Taylor Pork roll and could only get it when relatives would come to visit us from NJ. In Seattle, I found a deli that does carry it. You might want to ask a specialty deli if they would consider carrying this product.
Another option is to get an East Coast friend to ship you some frozen rolls or you could go get a large order yourself and keep them frozen.
I dont know of anything that really comes close to pork roll.

Hey-o!
Yes some basil has a mintyness to it. And no, I read esquire for the pictures.
-
This month's Esquire has an article on making a basil mojito. They suggest making a basil syrup instead of muddling leaves.
This sounds kinda wrong to me, but I would try it.

To give the Space Needle credit, I've heard that it revolves faster when Ballard comes into view of your table, and it slows down when Rainier appears.
How does that work? Wouldnt the side opposite you get shafted on their Rainier view?
Ben
Sorry, it's from an old Almost Live skit. They had guys with big wrenches at the base of the needle...
Well, let's just say it's about the only memorable skit from that program.
Heh heh heh, good ol Almost live.
They sure loved their ballard jokes.
I did really like the Burger Cannon Sketch though.

Perhaps they are turning the wrong direction. Clockwise is the key!

I think Bourdain goes by AB because he does not want to be associated with TB.
-
Yes, Seattle does have one at the top of the Space needle. I have not been since I was about 10 years old though. All I remember about that meal was looking at the center area that was not revolving and also getting a roy rodgers in a Space needle shaped cup.
From what I have heard locally, the Space needle restaurant is mediocre and overpriced.

Next Weekend I am going to visit an Indian friend who is graduating from Med School. I am staying over at the family's place and I cannot wait to try some home cooked food!!!
I will be sure to report back.
A little birdie advised me about gifting for such an event, I think I am going to make some homemade cookies: Dark Chocolate Sparkle Cookies and Jeffery Steingarten's awesome Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe. I am also going to buy some local treats to bring down.
Again, I cant wait!!!

I usually end up with them like this when I roast a chicken. They are fully cooked, but there are these pieces of fat deep inside them that dont go anywhere. I dont see how these could render when roasting.
