So where could a fella get some good brioche 'round these here NorthWest parts?
-
There is no reserve on this item, but you are right about the building codes. Those things get wicked hot.

3 days left and still pretty low. Not many bids. This could turn out to be a good deal.
Sadly, I dont have room for it.

Heh heh heh, go argue it out over a subway sandwich!
-
Suvir, how often do you eat Indian food?
-
Please remember!
I work up near Everett. Sweet.

For shame!

I am not really in the market right now, but that 5 burner DCS looks sweet. A brief search on the net only yielded a price of about 3800 bucks. This seems high, is there a better place to look?

How long does it take for prices to quell from the $25-35/lb area? I was quoted ~ $35 for cut pieces and $25 for whole fish at the Food Emporium up here in Mukilteo.

As for the metabolisim slow down, some "eating habit revision systems" suggest a single day of the week where you eat anything you want as much as you want. Supposedly this will send a message to your body that you are not going into a period of famine (smaller portions) and you will continue to burn at your same metabolic rate.
I have no data to back any of this up though, except my own experience.

I believe the 6ft estimate. Varmint is leaning a bit to the side, which would skew his height. Also Vengroff has a hat on. I am guessing vengroff is about 6' 3" or 6'4"

How healthy is yogurt if it does not have live cultures? It seems that many yogurts on the market today have a lot of added sugar and have had the cultures killed.

No, just vending machines.

Wow, how many of those sandwiches do you think you have eaten so far? How far do you have to go to reach the local Subway?

More for me!
I find that in the PacNW, Sapporo is as common if not more common than Kirin. I wonder why.
Ben

Do you ever opt for the Roast Beef?
Ben

The Kirin 'Fire' Coffee drinks are great.
I enjoy the marble soda bottles, but the soda is too sweet for me.
The jelly drinks are pretty tasty too. Kinda loose jello style.

Thanks for the pointer. Nice to know others are tokillya drinkers.
Damn straight. Tequila can be mighty tasty.
My favorite standard (not super top shelf) is Sauza Hornitos. Great stuff.

More threads with Tequila in them.
See, we do like tequila!

Ok, the 31st is now booked for the final NSM Cocktail Party.
Sorry I nabbed the date - I hope I haven't thrown a wrench in the works.
No, not a problem. It was just a date I threw out there.
I am very pro-cocktail party.

Cook your own then you can control the heat if you choose to add any.

Hey, I made a point of saying the NW just so people outside of Seattle could post their brioche picks!
