  5. I too grew up on that custard on the other end of provinces but it's been so long ago I'd forgotten about it and made many creme anglaise that many recipes called for. Do you have a link for a T&T for Steamed Honey Pudding?

  7. Are the chocolate, apricot and pecans separate scones or are they rolled into one? I like apricots in my biscotti as it give it a contrast between in textures, but haven't used them in scones.

  10. Pancakes is common in the USA and the same in BC. When I was a kid in BC we had pancakes or used a slang 'flapjacks' but not very often, at home and the same thing at our restaurant. I didn't know there was anything remotely close other than the thin pancakes called crepes or palacsinta in Hungary.
