Japanese fried chicken

The Times had an intriguing piece on Japanese fried chicken, which pretty much described how to do it, but negelected to say what's in the batter. Anybody know?

No worries! We've all had our brain fart on us one time or another. Just follow the links and maybe you can find what you're looking for. If not & you're in the NYC area, take the 7 to Flushing and go fooding to reasearch what's what.
