Someone has given me a lovely looking bottle of elderflower cordial. I have never used cordials really and would love some ideas for some fun/delicious things to make with it.

I thought about making a jelly with it, but I am not really sure what flavours would combine well with the elderflower.

Do any of you use cordials often, or make your own ?

Too strong to drink straight; Sorbet is a great idea. Try just a splash in some sparkling wine; makes for a nice aperitif. I also like it with sparkling water and fresh mint.

That's a matter of opinion... In Germany, I've always been served this cordial straight in a small cordial glass.
