This is from Gary Regan's newsletter:

FINE LIVING TV Network joins modern mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim as he serves up a look at the coolest, hippest and most progressive masters behind the bar throughout  the country  with a one-hour special entitled "Raising the Bar: America's Best Bar Chefs," premiering on Sunday, Aug. 14.

From Manhattan to Miami to San Francisco we'll get to know the mixologists who are shaking things up in the spirit world by creating restaurant-like bars that serve fine cuisine in a glass instead of on a plate.  Tony will visit Julie Reiner at her Flatiron Lounge in Manhattan, Santiago Rodriguez and Nobu Matsuhisu at Nobu in Miami, and Jacques Bezuidenhout at Harry Denton's Starlight Lounge in San Francisco where Tony, coincidentally, began his career and created the legendary drink The Cable Car.  He'll also drop in on other great bar chefs in these cities who are blazing new trails through the American cocktail scene.
