Tried Pop's a few months ago - ribs were pretty good, but not outstanding. the pulled pork was very good. But for really fabulous ribs try Hot Rod's BBQ in Mine Hill. These are dry rub ribs. they are excellent. Everything at Hot Rod's is really good.

Try Kinchley's in Ramsey. Very good thin-crust pizza. Very noisy when crowded & usually lots of kids, but it's worth it. For thick, Sicilian pizza, try Sun-Ray in Little Falls.

Holstein's is good, but for really outstanding ice cream, you should try Gelato on the border of Totowa & Paterson. They have some gelato, but primarily they have excellent ice cream. I have been going to Applegate's since I was 5 years old & it has definitely gone down in quality over the years. Try Gelato's.
