There is an upstairs room at Cinque Figlie Whippany 302 Whippany Road Whippany 973-560-0545 but I am not sure if they are using it. Give them a call.

Never been but Tuscany Trattoria 284 Center Ave. Westwood 201-722-0800 has been there a long time.

Melting Pot is in Westwood. A fun place. Other places worth driving to are: Cafe Panache, Ramsey (byo) The Park, Park Ridge Village Green, Ridgewood (BYO)

Does anyone know of a steakhouse in the Rumson area which has a limited or no menu? Diners go up to a small window near the "meat cooler" and select the cut of beef they want served for that evenings meal.

Tried to get a reservation at Log Haven via e-mail. Sent an e-mail twice and never heard back from them. I am quite annoyed as they do advertise that you can e-mail for a reservation. Looks like I will be dining someplace else.

My only complaint is that Curlz was not wearing an eGullet t-shirt. Casey--I graduated from Montclair and daughter has been an adjunct there.
