  4. Thanks for the King/Sockeye explanation. Since Copper River Salmon is only available for a short time I'm surprised that the sockeye is so "cheap."
  5. That's a big difference in prices.
  6. Copper River Salmon was selling for $30 a pound at Whole Foods the first week it was available. I think it's down to $23 a pound now. So $37 for a dinner is not our of line.
  7. 8. They have their liquor license.
  9. We were at Piquant in New Brunswick and thought it was excellent. The menu is 60% vegan and vegetarian; BYO. Worth the ride. http://www.piquantfoods.com/philo.htm
  10. Has anyone been here? Is it any good? Any recommendations on what to order? Thanks.

  12. We never has service problems at Epernay either. And if you go ask for Sandra as she is an excellent waitress.
  13. Congratulations to Chef Anthony Lo Pinto on the "VERY GOOD" he received from restaurant reviewer David Corcoran in the New York Times May 21, 2006.

  15. Isn't La Forchetta in Englewood? Is there another one?
  16. I had a wonderful lunch at Frog and the Peach recently. If the weather is nice sit on the patio, as it is so delightful there. Started off with a roasted tomato soup. Be forewarned that this is a large bowl—not a cup of soup. I had half and my dining companion finished it. I had an extremely tasty app for my entrée of tuna sashimi, with cucumber salad, lemongrass broth and tobiko. My friend had a “must try” of seared sea scallops, sesame peanut noodle sushi, and pickled vegetable salad with a miso vinaigrette. The scallops were huge, extremely fresh and this is what I will order the next time. The crispy rolls and herbed butter served with our lunch were addictive. We shared a rhubarb/strawberry strudel for dessert. The restaurant also offers a three course prix fixe lunch with selections changing weekly for $19.95. If you are in the New Brunswick area I can highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. Phone: 732-846-3216.
  17. Looking forward to coming in sometime during the week for dinner.
  18. Adegiulio--are you saying that you will now order salad at Epernay? I've always loved the food there and assume that since the chef has been working with Mark for four years that the quality will remain the same. If you're in this part of NJ be sure to PM us.
  19. Menu will stay the same and a new spring menu will be out soon. The Chefs have been working with Mark for 4 years. They may open for lunch but I don't know when. Stay tuned!
