Funny. Not only did I order nearly the same herb order as you (Richter's herbs - great selection) but for the first time I also ordered a Curry leaf plant to play with! I will let you know. Share you findings as well. Meant to take a picture, so far, I have enjoyed some garlic chives, very young spring garlic and wild arugula. Planted various types of lettuce and snap peas as well. About 6-8 types of heirloom tomatoes, aurora, Serrano and poblano peppers; cucumbers, ground cherries, prize choy and my first attempt at starting Thai basil (which is working) are under the LED in starter trays.

Thank you all for the kind wishes. Hope you are all safe and well during these surreal times. Probably should turn off the running loop of Groundhog Day in the background, not helping matters!

Isolation Self Produced-B-day dinner... No way to rotate pics in EG - practice your neck stretches prior to proceeding! Porcini/Veal stock/Black Truffle reduction (I would eat this on shoe leather) 8 Week Cumbrae's RibEye Chocolate/Meringue sandwich (with some maple syrup for good measure, because clearly there was not enough sweetness there!) Something to wash it down. Cheeses not pictured.

not sure how eg manages to totally rotate the orientation from how it’s even displayed in my phone but...kudos! Shrimps - lobster sauce - egg bean noodle. Back yard wild celery (First pic) - beans and cabbage

Listen, if you want men to avoid liking you so much, quit feeding them such good food!

If I may jump in... I have been continually 'perfecting' mushroom (or any) risotto for over 20 years. Some of the key's I have found: - Must use mushroom stock, the more intense the better. Porcini re-hydration liquid is great here. - Have an intense mushroom 'boost' for 3/4 of the way through the cooking process ready - e.g. sautee your mushrooms, shallots, deglaze with wine and stock - reduce, add butter and herbs - then add this saucy mixture to the risotto. - The more browning on your mushrooms, the better. Enjoy!

I have a few extra limes... How about some kaffir lime leaves!?

No (I have those as well, but they are bean curd) - these ones were sweet potato starch noodles. I love the chew on them.

That's some quality social distancing measures. Apparently good (food) tastes does not necessarily coincide with high levels of intellect.

Have to see the beauty in the little things - was just getting some stuff ready for dinner, in this case large local organic spinach. Soon to become some butter “creamed” concoction... Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.

But it sure helps to relieve the stress and forget about the madness that is our world!

Faux pulled pork sandwiches (king oyster mushrooms and onion jam) with Korean swt pot fries and big-Mac’esque inspired sauce - I won’t eat their burgers but the sauce from what I recall as a kid - was great!

@KennethT - Just took out a pack of organic chicken bone in thighs for curry tonight - would love to hear more about your version above - I was going to go the Thai route, but I am happy to veer slightly off my flight course....(assuming I have the ingredients on hand!).
