I also made the caramelized carrot soup as my first recipe, and I was very happy that it just worked the first time. My next quest will be finding some of the ingredients. I live in the Netherlands, so that will be interesting. The Texturas line from El Bulli will be the first place to look, those are available from a few web shops here.
