UPDATE! That whip was dark or rusted. She didn't tell me anything about it other than that it was dark. There's a KA on sale for $229 after rebate. It's the Artisan Series 325 watt 5 qt. Model KSM150. 325 seems too weak. Somehow, people keep telling me I can find amazing deals if I just look. I keep looking, and nothing's all that amazing. I also burned out my mother's hand mixer, and mine's starting to smell. Time to find that thread on hand mixers....

That's like... two or three streets below 14th Street. It's on the west side of the street. 212-675-2526. Please tell me if you're in so I can make the reservation and make sure they'll have enough burgers. Lurkers are also welcome and encouraged as I have said before. Alright, alright, I may be somewhat puritanical with my burgers, but I can also verge on the twisted. Last night I went to Fink's BBQ with Rachel and Jason after the farmer's market, and he offered us a sample of... get ready for it... bacon chocolate chip cookies. Holy Jesus, were they good. If you can get there, go. No kidding, GO.

I was just getting back here anyway to say that I had the pulled pork sandwich platter, and it was totally yummy and hit the spot like nothing else. Excellent meat/fat, sauce/bread ratio. Yum. I could eat another one right now. And I just had a big bowl of macaroni and cheese. But that bacon chocolate chip cookie... that was spectacular. Maybe I'll start it's own thread. MORE PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW!
