  1. @Kerry Beal the link also does not work of mr but since you brought it up : and the economics of Every Day Life interest me : how are long are the lines in the various dispensaries ? here in MA there are now two non-medical dispensaries I think the lines are long and the amout for purchase is low no matter the Clap-Traps in the political sphere are what they are as " the history of scientific revolutions " pointed out : science progreses because scientists essentially get old and die that simple Politicians seem to be of harder bark and taking their time of each and every Party nothing to do with legal weed just the same there it is so , the lines ?
  2. @weinoo nice on the Old Hens consider your freezer space consider , rather than concentrating that stock use it a few times in the iPot again with more Old Hens 2x is really really nice 3 x @#(Y*@#R@#_(RTY(#_QTR_#TR but that would require some Fx space. at least you are starting on a Long Trail to delicousness

@Edward Dekker nice to hear about alternatives I prefer the lower sodium from SoupBase as i then add more paste to get a sodium lever I can accept I do add to the final stock/gravy now iPot turkey stock and Bells seasoning etc I wont mind even less sodium , but then as a commercial item no one would buy it as we all are conditioned to very high levels of sodium in all the commercial items be why
  4. @dcarch Im very glad you are up to date ! me as time marches on once i go around the block #R#(R%^#^R times Im going to pleased with my own dinner

  7. @gfweb nice time do indeed have changed when I did indoor gardening I used Metal-Halide lamps although there were certain items there were also some tomatoes , basil and etc. I liked the tomatoes and the basil a lot more than the other items and gave them away. some people were pleased i was more pleased by the tomatoes and basil and under no circumstances ever would I give those last two away. I will warn those who want to grow basil in side : please to try it and let us know. its as difficult an item to grow inside as Ive ever tried. as you will do better please report , in detail JP might have said " Happy Growing ! "
  8. indeed Happy Birthday , JP Ive read " The Apprentice " several times notice something new every time. Enjoye the " Animal Heads off Long Island " episode every time
  9. I used to ' grow ' indoors. I used a fan. I no longer do. not as exciting these days. and that's a good thing !
  10. once sprouted and seed can be helped in the winter w grow mats its all about light. not enough light , of any kind not some much growth. '' tender '' herbs such as basil might not very well at all perennial herbs , better best of luck and i hope your system does well for you. pay attention to Bugs. the love delicious indoor tender shoots to eat like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mealybug BTW on the light : its the square of the distance to the light for the light effecct the plants will spend all their time getting closer to the light as the expense of their leaves try to get the lights as close to the plants as you can it makes a huge difference uncles the lights are hot and cook your plants.

@Ann_T love your Turkey , Gravy , Peas ! I eat a lot of similar , w SV TB's , canned ' Diner ' peas and gravy I make myself , from iPot Turkey Carcass w and assist from Soup Base . com https://www.soupbase.com/RC-Turkey-Base-Low-Sodium-no-added-MSG/productinfo/CLSTB/ cheers !
  13. @haresfur curious on how long that Steak a la MC was in the oven. using a fan in a dry oven , well , dries things out. convention bake , even w 2 fans , a fan for circulation , and a fan that circulates ' fresh heat ' from a hot coil dont do a lot for cooks over a certain time. they do give your oven ' even heat ' so you can do short cooks , i.e a bazillion sheet pans of cookies all at the same time w fairly uniform results. the Combi-Oven Goddess's need to get over themselves and do the right thing and set us all up w domestic combi ovens
  14. @heidih thanbks there is one like this in Somerville MA , but I have not visited.
  15. A bit of P.S. dans le Cheese above : Im fairly confidant that both packets of deliciousness will benefit from my Person Cave a long time ago some one imported cheese from FR and other Tasty Points but understood that commercial cheese then might not have been the real deal a long time ago so they set up a place in , possibly Somerville , MA and imported cheese and aged the cheese very carefully in a real Cave and It said the stuff from there is outstanding I can't find the URL but keep in mind based on you weather , temp and humidify you might like to age personaly those cheese's that do benefit mostly Ooozy Brie and the likes I don't think you will benefit home aging a 4 - 8 y.o. cheddar for a few weeks jsuyt sayong
  16. two recent cheeses from TJ's aging in the ' cave ' [ed.: cabinet shelf in the kitchen ] as I type : the square ' soft ripened cheese ' is from FR and very Brie like. a bit bland on a DemoDay , but the flavor improved nicely after about 10 days in the ' cave ' N.B. : its cold in the kitchen these days the second I would not have tried as I tend to not get flavored cheese. it was Demo'D today and was nice. garlic and herbs , not over done . Brie-like from Wisconsin niot FR seems like it will also age in the Cave nicely , based on the temp in the Kitchen

  19. I stopped my WF the other day its across the street from Tj's I went there to get some bulk steel-cut oatmeal i.e. groats thats the only place that has this item in my area. as my vaccinations were more or less up to date I ventured into the store. what I noticed : the vegetable were not artfully stacked as high as they used to be before JB bought the place things had been moved around and I didn't see , but did not look hard for , kiosks of 3-D rate electronics that talked to you and monitored all you did. [ F.D.: I own a few shares of both AAPL and AMZN , only a few . more than my fingers , but less than my toes counted in } I do suggest you buy a bazillion bucks of stuff you do not need at WH and AMAzon 3-d rate electronics. or by the Sweet Stuff , from AAPL why ? my few positions , very long term positions they are , in the doldrums due to the TrumpSterIsh effect my personal suggestion : get the food stuffs at WF and the electronics from AAPL its a Win-Win for me , See ?

  23. I can see this unit being fine for people once they understand its construction limits ie clamp I wonder if it will fit over the ' lip ' of various ' beer coolers '
  24. @Edward Dekker that's a common price for MB. I moved on to just the whole fz breast for a little bit more as they are much easier to deal with and w SV TB is tender , juicy and of any sort of flavor y0u add !
  25. I havent benn on a in a long long time I don't miss it at all , esp now w the check in etc most often for the last several years it was SW , and I brought my own sandwiches etc on board I didn't mind , as the fares were so much cheaper than United / AA from BOS to SFO and detour. this topic brought back fond memories : I used to fly standby all the time from SFO to BOS. I never got bumped. and I figured out how to get an actual seat by cheek in time. w legroom. the meals were Chicken or Beef , and the beef was filet mignon , green beans and a potato item. from time to time , they had extra meals. these were the Vietnam war days. people , younger , began treating the uniformed Marines a little huffily. This I found to be misguided. this is not a political statement if you are that age group , and male , you will undertand that at the first lottery , my SS number turned out to be 4. the Uniformed Marines got any extra meals from the United stewardess . I was of course , in cattle but it was much better back then you can't imagine the tons of stuff I Carried On , and the stewardess's help me cram it all in the overheads ! then I began to get an extra filet from time to time. the college unmniform at that time for me , in the Cold East was an old Navy PeaCoat that you carefully selected near a Navy Base as they were sold by Ex-Navy Enlisted men. they were to die for ( no pun there ) and there were several Navy Bases in the Bay Area maybe the stewardess 's saw me shovel my PeaCoat in the overhead bin. can't say I had a second Filet Mignon 3 out of my 6 trips a year for the last two years of college I didn't mind at all. Though no young, but amusing, Pinot Noir was offered. and I still have that PeaCoat BTW I still have my Father's long Navy Winter Officers coat from WWII. with real heavy brass USNavy buttons. very little wear. he served in the Pacific for 4 years. the Dept of the Navy , and esp the Marines know a lot about " Fancy Dress " for sure.
