Nope. Just their normal wetness. Into a baggie and shaken with the panko mix. Once they are in position on the rack I sprinkle some of the panko from the bag on top by hand.

My first attempt at miso salmon (and actually miso-anything) cooked on the PAG. It stuck to the non-stick grate pretty bad and I wasn't prepared for that, so the salmon tore a bit. Probably too much sugar content (no actual sugar, but cream sherry and mirin). I am going to try sake instead next time, but I was out. It was still tasty though. Served with mini-peppers and squash also grilled on the PAG. They were marinated in EVOO and balsamic.

Chicken tenders with homemade panko coating. Made in the air fryer. This time I did not pre-toast the panko. Instead I lightly sprayed the coating chicken with olive oil and that browned and crisped up nicely. Served with steamed cauliflower in butter. I also made a cherry pie, sans crust. Instead I put a few cheerios on top near the end of baking to give some crusty flavor without all the calories of a real crust. Not sure it made any real difference. Also made vanilla ice cream with oat milk. It was OK flavor-wise, but I like almond milk better. First the "pie" and then together:

I’ve used turmeric in the past, but often I find it will leave a bitter taste. So I just went with a few drops of coloring.

I'm not sure what this is! Shrimp with rice, simmered in chicken stock (and some yellow food coloring) with chives, carrots, peas and Brussels sprouts.

I have the 3qt Ultra and there’s no big advantage to it. I do like this display and it shows a progress bar for the various cycles. It was on deep sale when I bought it and less than all the others, but I wouldn’t pay any extra for the Ultra. ETA: I also own the 8 qt Duo Plus.

Top Sirloin steak, cooked SV then seared, served with steamed cauliflower with butter. A few days ago I made grape pie (crustless). Sounds weird, I know, but it was very good. Red seedless grapes, sugar, cornstarch.

No reviews but here are the links to what I bought. They all work and fit. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WRMG24C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BMXCHYG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071WRZCHL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0777XZBMZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The pot was on sale for $59.95 when I bought it, likely on Prime Day 2109.

Plenty of accessories for the 3qt. I got a steamer basket (which I have yet to actually use), extra colored gaskets and an OXO silicone egg trivet that works in the 3qt and the 8qt.

Yes it's 50% white and 50% durum. The durum is yellow and it also has an egg in it.

I also just use the insert. I think I saw it here, but the secret to not having the rice stick is to go with a full natural release (and I cook the rice at full pressure for 4 minutes). Works great with easy cleanup.

Yes. Breville Smart Oven Air on air fryer mode. Panko was pre-toasted before adding seasonings. Then 400f for 20 minutes. I thought they were a tad overcooked, but my wife said they were perfect.

Those are radish shoots, as in, "Shoot, these should have been fat radishes..." 😉

Salmon, maple-bourbon glaze, grilled squash and mini-peppers and steamed Brussels sprouts. Grilling of salmon and veggies on the PAG.

I always wash mine by hand and the last few times (including tonight) I noticed that it's becoming less non-stick. Still way more easy to clean than the BBQ grill.

Two recent dinners: Store bought frozen burger patty with BBQ sauce, served with roasted yellow squash and mini-peppers. All done on the PAG: Stir fry with what was on hand. Yakisoba noodle packet, amped up with leftover rotisserie chicken, carrots, celery, peppers, pineapple and onion. Plus soy and hoisin sauces.

Way behind on posting, so here are some recent dinners: Baked a challah: Coconut curry chicken with basmati rice: Beef with snap peas in mushrooms gravy: Tri-tip, cooked SV then seared, with leftover beef and snap peas:

Impromptu "lasagna" with my red sauce (sausage version), yellow squash coins instead of noodles and shredded mozzarella.
-
Made my usual red sauce but this time I used up the leftover chicken Italian-style sausage. Really good. Served over yellow squash "noodles" (yoodles?).
