  1. As noted above, probably a year or so ago I put together a spreadsheet of items, oven mode, times and temperatures from the CSO Threads Parts 1 and 2. I have updated that with cookery from part 3. I did not enter items with complicated recipes. I have attached an Excel Spreadsheet which my Apple computer generated from the Numbers Spreadsheet so hopefully it will open for everyone. A "Numbers" document is not accepted. If anyone wants the Numbers version just email me. Convection-Steam Oven Cookery.xlsx
  2. Excellent. We want to go there soon too. Don’t forget to pack the translation tool.😁
  3. Thanks, I am in the process of updating the chart. Started on page one of the 'Part 3" thread.....currently on page 11 😫 Will post the updated file when done. I am just taking posts with a clear outcome and simple procedures.
  4. I also used filtered water (minerals removed) in the CSO and my Jura Coffee Machine. @robirdstxI posted a spreadsheet some time ago listing all the settings that had been used in the thread. Here it is again with some updates, including your bacon. The pizza reheat is amazing. Convection-Steam Oven Cookery in Numbers Format.xlsx
  5. Today's pickage. Shelby, sorry for your loss! My zucchini plants are starting to produce daily. And, what was I thinking, cucumber plants galore....good thing our neighbours like veggies.
  6. Don’t forget to clean out the water drawer, 😇

Wonderful looking meals everyone!!! Stir fry beef and snow peas from the garden, noodles with green onions, asparagus and ham and Japanese style eggplant from the 'eggplant thread'. Very nice meal and the eggplant was especially good.
  8. Yes, give them a really good wash in four changes of water then soak them overnight. Wash, wash again before cooking. This reduces phytates which reduce enzyme activity in the gut which inhibits digestion and increases the production of gas further down.

The Mushroom was quite big and had spinach, bread crumbs, mozza, mushroom caps and onion. The ribs were really good. From Costco so they were quite meaty and not too fatty.

Instapot pork ribs finished (a little too much) under the broiler; cheese grits; asparagus with crumb topping and a stuffed (with spinach and mozza) Portabello Mushroom. Too much food.

Hum..not sure what to say...perhaps I added potato at one point and that’s why I thought the recipe had them included. ar any rate, potatoes are a welcome addition..cut so they cook in time.

Very nice roast dinner. Nigella has a recipe for roasted potatoes, chicken and sausage which I've made several times. https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/nigella-lawson/one-pan-sage-and-onion-chicken-and-sausage-recipe-1917236

Looks delicious! My DH is deathly allergic to mussels. So I only have them at restaurants. glad it all worked out. my second recommendation was the coconut milk Asian treatment. bravo
  18. You could go traditional. Onions, garlic, parsley, butter and white wine served with frites.
  19. Only in Canada I guess?! BUT I discovered we do get the travel channel! We have a new service provider that we are getting used to. yippeeee.
  20. Nothing as good as a hot dog! Can’t remember when I last had one. Wish one could buy them as singles....I remember a grocery store many years ago had them indivually packaged in a plastic wrap tube. I can get the German Weiners indivually and they are an OK substitute.
  21. Just tried to PVR the CNN programs and the bastards don’t allow recording! Wow, I had no idea. No Travel channel for me so I may just have to watch CNN live.
  22. I am sooo upset. Holly crap. So so sorry for those close to Tony. Oh, boy, it’s go to take awhile to get over this. i will haul out Les Halles and I just bought his latest book which will also get some use. at the Fridaynight pub night we all clinked a glass to Tony. We all recounted our knowledge of what he was about.

    OMG wonderful taco holders!
  24. There’s a whole lotta fry’n going on in those meals but they don’t look greasy oddly enough. I would be happy eating those meals but I would probably share a plate with DH.

A disaster in what way? Dry duck? Toes splattered with hot duck fat? Mushy vegetables? Crappy wine?
