I concur about freezing the blueberries - they freeze easier than any other fruit, I think! I love them in Blueberry Shortcake: I also make a Drenched Cranberry Cake that I sometimes sub blueberries for the cranberries in. It has a very decadent vanilla sauce (thus the "drenched" part of the recipe!): Lori

When I make frisee aux lardons, I generally use applewood smoked bacon and homemade croutons, dressing with a sherry vinaigrette. The poached egg is a "must" for me! It's my all-time favorite salad- Lori

I've been lurking for quite some time now and am impressed (and a bit intimidated) by all the wonderful cooking here. BUT I finally decided to jump in! Yesterday morning, I made blueberry scones (AnnT's recipe): I felt the need for a little protein this morning (!) and made a more traditional American breakfast of eggs, home fries, and bacon: Thanks for all the inspiration I've already gleaned from all of you!
