  1. 15, but a couple are one time only.
  2. This is completely real. People order animal style burgers all the time. Ditto well done fries. Kids order 4x4s often.
  3. Second the rec for Hearst Castle. Reservations recommended. You can do it online. Sadly, I'm not aware of any good restaurants in the immediate area. http://www.hearstcastle.org/
  4. FWIW, Josie Le Balch gets her meat from him.
  5. Sounds like another section for Disneyland, possibly adjacent to Fantasyland.
  6. Citronelle is Michel Richard's outpost in SB. He comes in about once a month to keep a hand in things.
  7. In Montecito, just outside Santa Barbara, the Montecito Inn is very nice and their restaurant ain't bad (need reservations). Across the street, the Wine Bistro is great for all kinds of snacks and wine. You're probably aware of Downeys, the Wine Cask, and La Super Rica in Santa Barbara.
  8. Excellent cheese & fruit plate in the Biltmore Bar.
  9. It's good. It costs more than the cafeteria which is surprisingly good. You might want to make reservations for lunch to get a good (view) table.
  10. Dude, I totally agree with everything you said, and I'd write more. But the garlic sauce from my tarna sandwiches from Zankou Chicken is dripping all over my keyboard. Gotta run and eat.
  11. My parents can not stand him 'cause he rides the rodeo My father says that he will leave me cryin' I would follow him right down the roughest road I know Someday soon, goin' with him someday soon
  12. Interesting that one named Hobbes should be concerned about leviathan portions.
  13. Elyse, as Kinky Friedman would say, get yer biscuits in the oven and yer buns in the bed.
  14. Good point. Do you think that natives of foreign countries want to visit the areas around our bases the way we like to visit Little Tokyo, etc.?
  15. I was thinking about a cluster area where expats live and American food is available.
  16. Exactly, all I could think of was Disneyland (World?) and EuroDisney. Tokyo Disneyland has a main street too! Yes, I think they've all got Main Street USA. Somehow it seems a little different than going to a China Town, etc. Do they serve American food or native cuisine in Tokyo Disneyland?
  17. I'll drink to that.
  18. Exactly, all I could think of was Disneyland (World?) and EuroDisney.
  19. Don't you think the alcohol would nullify any germs?
  20. Harvey's cool Don't write him off. His meat is really good. And maybe I'm wrong. He just doesn't cut meat on Saturday, that's all.
  21. That would totally gross me out. I'm assuming the ice is in a plastic (or leakproof) bag so that it cools without watering down the cerveza.
  22. It's cool. And the topic is worth discussing. I think tommy's suggestion of starting another thread to do so is a good one. We're already pretty bogged down in the CF thing. FWIW, I agree that our eateries over serve us and that it's probably done to charge us more to improve their bottom line and mess with ours. Ciao.
  23. That's my understanding.
  24. Here you go: Harvey's Guss Meat Co 949 S Ogden Dr Los Angeles CA (323) 937-4622. Too late to call now until Monday.
  25. All well and good, but what I meant was Little Americas in f-o-r-e-i-g-n countries.
