  1. Thanks, all for the suggestions to date. On the bargain menu, we did a fried bologna sandwich, and it worked! Sold like a little charm. Heaven knows why! We do a "Picnic Cubano" with our own pickles...I'm getting some great sandwiches on this post. Thanks millions.
  2. Host Note: I have moved this from the NJ forum, because great sandwich ideas are universal. To familiarize yourself with Picnic's concept, check out their website, here's a link to the daily specials. - Rachel Hi there! Christine from little Picnic in Emerson. We change our lunch menu every day with between 11-13 items. I'm running out of ideas for new and exciting sandwiches. Got any? I'll give them a test drive and if they are swell, you'll see them on our menu. Thanks in advance for your help!
  3. Hey! Let me know when you come. Ask for Christine, and I'll pop out of the kitchen and introduce myself. Thanks for the interest.
  4. Monkey Bay S.Blanc - a buy at $9.99 and available many places, including Cork and Keg in Emerson...
  5. It is a takeout place that is owned by Marra's in Ridgewood. They have lots of pasta and take out...all Italian. They are right down the street from my little Joint, Picnic. I've stopped for takeout on my way home when I am out of stuff at my place...I haven't been disappointed...
  6. Thanks! I try. Not an easy location, but we do our best... we just started a "beef wellington" wrap. Baked filet mignon, duxelles, and of course, foie gras, all wrapped up. Our problem is our everyday eaters are afraid. Sad, that!
  7. Hey! You can always stop at my little Picnic! We're happy to fill you up with some yummies!
