  1. Seven more: Mangoes & Curry Leaves The New Spanish Table Cooking in SW France Tapas (Jose Andres) Charcuterie Best Recipes in the World Now to find the time to read & use them.
  2. We've had a semi-professional EXPOBAR Office (Spanish-made) recommended for offices for the past year & are extremely pleased with it. It's available, among other places probably, from wholelattelove.com.
  3. Cookbook holder, bread crumb catcher with knife, brown paper grocery bags (small ones) for holding grilled peppers to steam.
  4. I use mine for kneading bread - it's fantstic for this application & I would have trouble living without it as I don't enjoy kneading by hand. Also for mashed potatoes, cakes, cookies...
  5. Sorry your blog is almost over - it's been delightful, especially the opera references. After I began reading it, I went to a wonderful performance of Porgy & Bess by the Washington National Opera, lagniappe for yr blog! Can't wait to see the mussels - I've never cooked them in beer before.

    Limes

Limes are 10 for $1 at my local supermarket. Indispensable for Asian dishes. I mainly use them with fish sauce, garlic, hot peppers, &c for dipping sauce or even simple sauce for rice. The size varies wildly, however, from lemon size to small egg size.
  7. I've really enjoyed yr blog. We've toyed around with the idea of retiring to Maine - friends of ours just did so in Blue Hill - but after reading May Sarton's diaries of the winters, we've decided to stay put in VA, at least for the moment. How are the winters?
  8. It seems like they used a nice blend of hops for there pale ale. I am not a big fan of cascade. I like to substitute jasmin tea leaves for my "finishing hops". Great with Thai curried mussels. ←
