This is pretty much the only reason I make my own bread. Toast. I love my toast well toasted and with lots of little crannies for the butter to melt into. Breakfast this morning. Toast and tomatoes.

Today's bake. Started a 1000g batch of dough at 72% hydration, after I got home from work last night. After the last stretch and fold I put the dough container outside on the porch. Like when it is cold enough that I don't have to find room in the fridge for the big container. Brought it in early this morning at 3:00 AM and left it to warm up and finish rising. Baked seven baguettes.

After looking at the pizzas from@&roid. I decided I needed an Ooni. Ordered the 16" gas oven today.

Me too. Especially on hard shell tacos. New York Strip Loin roast. Presalted yesterday and roasted tonight on high heat. Mashed potatoes, Yorkshire Puddings and peas.

Breakfast for two. My guilty pleasure. baguette, buttered, smeared with Cheez Whiz and topped with bacon and then slid under the broiler. Bacon cooked in the CSO

@Franci, I keep coming back to look at your pizza with just the herbs and tomato sauce. Makes my mouth water. And your crust is perfection. Yesterday's bake. Same day. Last loaf came out of the oven around 9:00 PM and I started the dough in the morning around 5:30 AM. Discard from sourdough feed and 2g of yeast. 1000g flour at 80%. Left it out all day while I was at work and it was ready to go when I got home. Four baguettes and two boules. Sliced this morning. @Shelby, I owe you a big thank you. Wednesday, I went looking for your instructions on fixing the CSO. Your directions with photos were easy to follow. For a while now, I was only able to use the Bread setting to bake one loaf before it would start to beep saying it needed water, even though there was a full tank. I would have to switch to convection bake. Last night was the first chance I had to test the fix. I was able to baked all six loaves using my method of starting the loaves on the Bread setting for 12 minutes and then transferring to the Oster so I could start the next loaf. Cuts the baking time in half with this method. Oven performed perfectly. Thank you again.

Last night's dinner. Work night dinner. We were eating an hour after I walked in the door. Got the potato gratin in the oven first. This one is made with chicken broth seasoned with sauted onions and fresh thyme. And used my new cast iron grill griddle to cook the pork chops.

@Kim Shook, That donut sounds and looks decadent. I want. Made a beef stew for breakfast yesterday. Was suppose to be Tuesday's night dinner, but that didn't happen. This morning I made Moe scrambled eggs with organic pork sausages and homemade biscuits.

Moe's Breakfast. Baked him a Quiche this morning. Mushroom, Spinach and Bacon. And I had enough filling left to make a small 6" quiche. I used my butter pastry and just wing the filling.

@rotuts, here is a link to the recipe for the Pork Garlic Basil Meatballs.

Working today. Put a pot of my favourite meatballs on to simmer this morning. Destined for spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. But Moe decided he also wanted them for breakfast. Meatball sub in homemade baguette.

@Anna N that breakfast is so colourful. I can almost taste it. I still had half of the pastry left from when I made the chicken pot pie so I made an Apple Galette this morning. Moe had breakfast and then dessert.

Not big on salads so the best time to make one for Moe is when I'm not hungry. Made him a steak salad with sauted mushrooms, grilled red peppers and asparagus, artichoke hearts, tomatoes with a tarragon vinaigrette.

Sorry @rotus, got to have celery. But no carrots. HATE carrots.

Up early, so made Chicken Pot pies. Moe had one for breakfast and I'm taking the other to work for lunch.
