  2. march 13 is the new slated dated for opeining
  3. here i am moving from las vegas area, a frequent visitor to zion, to cleveland. If you like nature and working alot take the job... if not don't. It will be the only thing that you seen when you are not working. Buy some great hiking boots, learn the trails, and springdale. St gorge isn't too far away, so you will have some type of shopping near by. First problem you will find is gettin good products, so go visit all of the chefs in springdale and figure out what they are getting. Then try to get better stuff then them. From a frequent "parker" zion may be my favorite of all. It's not too big, and very intense. Good luck.
  4. I got to stop by Cleveland for a couple of days. Had dinner at Lolita, quite simply amazing. Michael and the staff there have mastered the cured meat making, and all of the dishes that we had were on the same level. Also got to check out the down town space... it's big and still in the process of being built. I think everyone on staff is totally stoked for it to open... it should be very exciting.
  5. I'm Still a big fan of pacific rim being one of the best restaurant in ann arbor. I 'll admit it's been a while since i've been in the area, but i know the owners frist hand. They always strive for there best. from a person who worked at the gandy my best advice... run like hell.

any news of the next pastry chef?
  10. don't worry chicago isn't to far of a drive!
  11. AREA I think is the key word here. Chicago population density allows restaurant location to be much closer than detroit. Bringing more return customers, more revenue, and utimately better restaurants. Detroit area has alot of money... but is the money willing to drive 45min to an hour and ten to get great food on a regular basis.
  12. So where do Vegans go for a great deli sandwich?
  13. Any foodie news on the home front... i know michigan is in a financial downfall right now. Is it affecting restaurants? Anything new opening, any interesting meal lately. I be visiting the area soon, is there any places that i just have to check out
  14. Does anyone know of any hard dates for this opening... Or how the building is coming along? I think that this is something very exciting for D.T. Cleveland.
