Tony, like it or not, you're a star chef (even if you're not as pretty as Bobby Flay). How do you feel about this?

Also, everyone was telling me to read Kitchen Confidential for a while now and I finally got down to it. I lived with two cooks for about a year (one was my coke dealer, the other my partner in crime -- I worked a day job and paid all the bills). I definitely laughed out loud at some of the familiar hijinks that I myself had been through--and it was always nice to open the freezer and find a prime rib and two beef tenderloins.

How do I feel about all this? Hey. It beats cleaning 40 pounds of squid at a clip. It's easier.
